This Japanese cut paste is used when you have been cutting on or removing branches close to the trunk. The tubed material can also be used for grafting work or anywhere that the bark has been opened up to the air, which can cause disease and drying out of the area of the wound causing die back. Since using this material, I have reduced dieback and or death to the tree to just about nil. Before this, I had a substantial rate of loss. The tube material is simply applied with the index finger and washes off even when dry with soap and water.
